What we did in the late springtime.
It’s the end and the beginning all at once. For months we have been writing, rehearsing and refining in the lead up to the recording of our debut album. Between the 13th and 22nd of November, we did just that, recording at Airlock Studios in Brisbane’s north with producer Yanto Browning. All done, awaiting mixes. We recorded ten tracks and have a good idea of which will be the lead singles, one of which features the amazing talents of Jen Boyce from Ball Park Music.
Many of the tracks were also recorded with instrumentation beyond our two-piece capabilities so our little family is likely to grow soon.
We’re super ridiculously excited to show you all what we did but as you may know, these things take time. Mastering, artwork, release schedules, promo. We want to do this thing right so there’s going to be proper planning involved.
Many thanks to those who have been so supportive so early.

We are playing a gig at Ric’s on the 7th of November, one week before we head in to studio land to record our album. Supporting will be Joel Myles of RVLR and The Jetpack Academy fame.
On an unrelated note, one of Vinnie’s “friends” punched him in the ankle tonight after he’d already twisted it. Ahhh, friendship. Must be a cyclist thing.
